We were excited to see a version of Phil Lesh and Friends had signed on to this year’s Warren Haynes Christmas Jam, but it left us wondering if more gigs from the Grateful Dead/Furthur bassist’s long-time, ever-changing project were in the works. Today we have our answer as the sleuths on the Ratdog.org message board have uncovered pre-sale ticketing links that confirm Phil Lesh and Friends will perform at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado on February 16, 17 and 18.
While the ticketing pages don’t mention a lineup, Philzone.com’s rumor page passes along the take which has been circulating amongst Deadheads for the past few weeks that Lesh will be joined by Warren Haynes, John Scofield, Jackie Greene and Joe Russo. Unless Greene plays keys during the run, the purported lineup features three guitarists. Will this run be part of a larger tour? Considering the presale starts on Monday (according to the graphic), we expect to have further details soon and will update this post when the shows are officially announced. In the meantime, we’re just excited for Phil to change it up.

Phil Lesh and Friends will be playing three shows at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO February 16, 17 and 18, 2012! The band features Phil, John Scofield, Warren Haynes, Jackie Greene and Joe Russo. Mail order starts Saturday, November 26 through GDTS and internet pre-sale starts Monday, November 28 at noon EST through Thursday, December 1 at 6 PM EST. Public onsale Friday, December 2 at 10 AM MST.
