The U.K. band Tribes fills a musical void the world has been missing since Kings of Leon self-destructed and Weezer stopped being good. The band plays mass appeal anthem rock without bells and whistles while incorporating just enough musical sophistication to narrowly avoid bubble gum terrain. Universal Republic picked up the band’s EP, We Were Children, and the band arrives stateside for a U.S. tour beginning December 7th, so we expect to hear more about this radio-ready rock band in the near future.
