The first round of additions to the 2012 Mountain Jam Festival have just been announced and include the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Lotus, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem DJ’ing and The Simone Felice Band. Other additions are the Nigel Hall Band, American Babies, Caravan of Thieves, Matt Schofield, Delta Rae, Wyllys, Charlie Dane, Kelli Scarr, and kids entertainment with Ratboy Jr. and Bari Koral.
Headliners for Mountain Jam 2012 include Gov’t Mule (who will headline on Friday and Saturday) , Steve Winwood (who will headline on Sunday), Michael Franti & Spearhead and The Roots. MJ 2012 will also see the return of both Ben Folds Five and The Word. This year’s event will be held over the course of four days from May 31 to June 3 at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, New York.
