Aggro-jammers Umphrey’s McGee have just added 15 new shows to their schedule that includes a pair of hometown performances in Chicago over Labor Day Weekend.

On Saturday, September 1, Umphrey’s will play Union Park as part of the North Coast Music Festival. The next night the band will perform at Congress Theater in The Windy City. Other acts scheduled for the third annual North Coast Music Festival include Pretty Lights, Axwell, Atmosphere and Big Boi.
As part of today’s additions, UM announced a quick run through the Northeast which will see them hit Vermont’s Higher Ground on August 10 and The Klein Theater in Bridgeport, Connecticut on August 11 in addition to their previously announced slot at moe.down. The sextet also filled out a three-week tour in September that includes the Chicago dates and shows in Virginia, North Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas.
