Gov’t Mule and moe. Collaborate in Bangor

The Gov’t Mule and moe. co-bill tour has begun and at last night’s opening performance in Bangor, Maine we saw the run’s first collaborations. Guitarist Chuck Garvey of moe. sat in with Gov’t Mule on a cover of All Along The Watchtower, while Mule’s Danny Louis and Warren Haynes came out during moe.’s set for Can’t You Hear Me Knockin’ by the Rolling Stones.

Mule and moe. head to Asbury Park for a pair of shows tonight and tomorrow. While both performances were set for the Outdoor Stage at the legendary Stone Pony, due to thunderstorms this evening’s (and for now, only tonight’s) concert has been moved down the block to The Paramount Theater. The start time has been adjusted to 7PM, though both groups will still play a two-hour set a piece. Sirius XM’s Jam_On will broadcast both sets in their entirety on Saturday.
