It’s that time of year again, when everyone is boastfully offering their best of lists and noting rare, obscure releases as the gem of the decade. It starts around the same time the malls become full of sweaty santas, pushy multi-bag carrying soccer moms and those annoying singing bass your uncle loves. So we decided to ask one of our favorite artists to combine the two and present a list of the best holiday songs to get us in a bit more festive mood. We were certainly surprised to see the email come in from everyone’s favorite Kazakhstanian reporter, but it was so full of choice selections, we had to share it. Sure, it’s another debatable list to argue about on some message board, but maybe, just maybe a few of these joyous tracks will bring a little holiday spirit to your hearts.
