The sixth annual edition of KCRW’s "A Sounds Eclectic Evening" is set for April 14 with appearances by The Shins, Lily Allen, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Cold War Kids, Bitter: Sweet and more.
The event will once again take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. More artists are still to be added to the lineup, and the Pinker Tones and Mocean Worker will perform at an exclusive after party.
Tickets for the evening go on sale February 27.
A Sounds Eclectic Evening began in 2001 as a fund-raiser for the Southern California radio station, which is based at Santa Monica College. According to organizers, this year’s proceeds will go toward digitizing the station’s 60,000-title library.
Last year’s edition featured Franz Ferdinand, Ben Harper, Death Cab For Cutie, Ziggy Marley, Feist and more.
