Perpetual Groove Cancels First Two Weeks of “Final Tour”

HT faves Perpetual Groove, who recently announced they will begin a dreaded “indefinite hiatus” in April, have just cancelled the next two weeks worth of shows. Earlier today the band cancelled their show in Auburn because “a viral infection has taken down one of the members of PGroove.” Now, they’ve moved to axe all shows up until January 30th.

Here’s the announcement from PGroove’s Facebook page

We are truly disappointed to report that shows scheduled for the next two weeks just can’t go on. All shows have been canceled until 1/30/13 at this time. Health comes first as you all know. All previous purchased tickets can and will be refunded through the appropriate ticket outlets. Thank you for your understanding.

Yikes, not a good start to “the end.” We hope whatever the case may be, the member of the band gets himself well soon. Perpetual Groove is scheduled to play The Rev Room in Little Rock on the 31st.
