I’ll be perfectly honest with you. I can’t really bash a band too hard- and if that makes me a critical coward, so be it. After all, have you ever heard my record? I wish The Kicks nothing but the best in their bad idea jeans and killer Euro sneakers. Is that why they’re called The Kicks, good shoes? Hello Hong Kong has twelve tracks and I like “Radar” best. FM Radio may agree and these boys will make millions screaming the line “Disco bars will kill this sound / And trust fund kids will rule this town” to dozens of kids at shitty shows sponsored by Clear Channel affiliates nationwide. I hope they get laid too- with legal chicks. Now go check out the Rich Robinson review for the skinny on pop rock with balls.
