NYC singer/songwriter Adam Mugavero is making a name for himself despite the lack of label backing. In the summer of 2001 Mugavero began performing in some of New York’s most prominent clubs including, CBGB’s, the Cutting Room and the Knitting Factory. Recorded in a home studio and then co-produced by Mike Bloom (Rilo Kiley, The Elected), Breathe possesses a beautifully executed contrasting of acoustic and electronic textures. Within wistful melodies and beautiful textures are Cat Stevens and pre-Yellow Brick Road Elton John influenced songwriting as Adam sings of everyday life with abstract metaphors which are open to listeners interruption.
