As you all know by now, Norah Jones cleaned house at the Grammy's on February 23rd, including her win for Best Album of The Year for "Come Away With Me". It is beyond refreshing to see this talented, naturally beautiful, seemingly down-to-earth, opposite of a megastar mannequin, win these awards. Her debut album is fantastic. She is fantastic. Even Norah’s acceptance speeches reeked of a "real" person on stage - something we rarely see these days in the entertainment industry, which is much too full of jaded crooners, and I-so-deserve-this actors and actresses.

She performed her song "Don't Know Why" wonderfully, showing her talent at the piano, and illuminated by candlelight. I only wish she had performed another melody from the album, perhaps "Cold Cold Heart", in order to show the world she does indeed have more than one great song. Up next, Norah will head back to the studio this Spring and hit the road for a coast-to-coast tour this summer, with word of a new album due by the coming Fall, according to her label Blue Note. We can't wait!
