Allison Moorer Releasing Mockingbird - Feb. 19th

Allison Moorer will release her New Line Records debut, Mockingbird, on February 19th, 2008.  Beautifully produced by Buddy Miller in Nashville, TN, the 12-track album is a celebration of songs composed by a stunning cast of female songwriters including Nina Simone, June Carter Cash, Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, Cat Power, Gillian Welch, Moorer’s sister Shelby Lynne and many more.  The title track of the collection is an original by Moorer.  Mockingbird is the follow up to her critically acclaimed 2006 release Getting Somewhere.
