 Last Days at The Lodge

Singer-songwriter Amos Lee has been here before. His first two albums, Amos Lee and Supply and Demand, both vaulted him to a “must-hear” level, and many people took notice.  With Last Days at The Lodge, you’re hearing much of the same praise – and that’s because it’s a brilliant piece of work filled with soul, excellent songwriting, and passionate vocals.  The opening “Listen” finds Lee rocking in his prime, while the sweet “Baby I Want You” reveals that he’s still got his tender touch working just fine.

But the real gem here is “What’s Been Going On,” a song that sounds like it could have been written in any era of great music and rise to the top.  In the end, it’s always Lee’s voice that gets you, but Last Days at The Lodge shows he’s a well-rounded musician that’s still deserves your full attention.
