Modest Mouse Headlining Bumbershoot

Modest Mouse, Katy Perry, De La Soul and Sheryl Crow are set to headline the 2009 Bumbershoot Festival.

The 39th annual music and arts festival will take place in Seattle over Labor Day Weekend (September 5-7).

Also on the bill are Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan, MSTRKRFT, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Matt and KIm, Holy F**k, Low vs Diamond, Iglu & Hartly, No Age and Gang Gang Dance. Additiional bands are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Festival will be held at the 74-acre Seattle Center beneath Space Needle at 20 indoor and outdoor venues. It will also include visual arts exhibits from DJ Spooky as well as the Seattle-Moscow Poster Show, and a Kids Pavilion for the younger set.
