The Arcade Fire Premiering New Material at Reading and Leeds Festival

The Arcade Fire will premiere material from their new album when they headline the Reading And Leeds Festival this summer, according to the band's Will Butler.

The multi-instrumentalist explained the group's plans by sending a postcard to NME – which you can read in full, along with exclusive new artwork, in this week's issue of the magazine on UK newsstands nationwide from Wednesday (March 31).

Writing on the postcard, Butler confirmed that Arcade Fire were "still hard at work" on their new album, but that the band feel confident enough to take their new songs on the road for the August 27-29 gigs.
