After a few changes of heart, it looks like M.I.A. has committed to a date for a free concert in NYC. M.I.A. has been floundering a bit since releasing her highly anticipated but poorly received album / \ / \ / \ Y / \ including a poor performance at HARD NYC. Since then, M.I.A. announced via Twitter, "fuck it! im gonna do a free show in nyc when i get back, tho i dont have powers over rain! if u still have the hard ticket u free! xxxo." The free concert will be held at the Brooklyn Bowl on October 6th and the show is 18+. Admittance is on a first-come, first served basis and lining up starts at 7pm, doors at 9:30pm. The venue can only hold 600 people so get there early.
