Pearl Jam has a very special show in the works to mark the band’s 20th anniversary. The group’s longtime manager recently
revealed that Eddie Vedder and co. are planning to host their own music festival.
Manager Kelly Curtis made the announcement earlier this week on the band’s Sirius/XM Radio station. The event is planned for summer 2011.
According to music blog GuerrillaCandy.com (via Spinner.com) Curtis said the festival will be held “somewhere in the middle of the country.” He noted that this clue means the event will not take place in the band’s hometown of Seattle.
