Widespread Panic has announced a short series of shows on a short acoustic outing dubbed the “Wood Tour” beginning in late January. The 11-date, four-city tour is wrapped around Widespread Panic’s first shows in Mexico. The sold-out “Panic En La Playa” featuring The Panic in all its electrical glory takes place Jan. 31-Feb. 3 at the Now Sapphire Resort in Puerto Morelos. Concluding its 25th anniversary celebration, Widespread Panic’s “Wood Tour” begins in Silver Spring, Md., at The Fillmore Jan. 24-25. Other dates are Atlanta’s Tabernacle Jan. 27-29; Denver at The Fillmore Feb. 10-12; and Aspen at the Belly-Up Feb. 17-19.
