Having recently announced his forthcoming album, America, out August 28th (North America) / August 27th (Rest of the world) on Domino, Dan Deacon is set to head out on a major headlining North American tour this autumn, performing with his streamlined ensemble of two drummers -- Jeremy Hyman of Boredoms, Ponytail; Kevin O'Meara of Videohippos -- with America producer Chester Endersby Gwazda joining Dan on electronics.
The America Tour's streamlined four-piece -- trimmed down from the 14-musician Bromst ensemble -- retains the energy of a live band, while staying true to the music's throbbing electronic pulse.
