Your Personal Favorite On-stage Moment/Show of 2008

Watching my label-mates at Favorite Gentlemen destroy Atlanta crowds again and again in 08 while Manchester was making a record; they continued to encourage us that rocking somebody so hard that their faces are destroyed is a GOOD thing.

Classic Album or Artist You Discovered This Year

Jay-Z: The Blueprint - Knew it, had it, loved it - but never really HEARD how nasty it was until this summer... Kanye West producing anything is a good thing, but having Jay-Z literally flow from track one all the way to the end, with only ONE guest artist (eminem, by the way - he delivers production duties and insane verse/chorus to "renegade". We all know Jay-Z has sold/resold/made a billion of everything, but truly - if you don't own this album, buy it now.

Best Film You Saw This Year

Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, Pineapple Express, Forgetting Sara Marshall, really anything with Judd Apatow close to it, I will see it, see it again, and buy the 9 disc DVD set when it comes out.

Favorite new gadget, technology, site or application you can't live without

Artist You Are Most Excited About In 2009 (any medium)

David Bazan - best living songwriter in the world today. I will dissect it all.
