  1. Hello

I have produced a tribute album for my friends, Muscle Shoals legends Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham, which features many Rock and Roll legends such as Steve Cropper, Jimmy Hall, Bonnie Bramlett, Christine Ohlman, Donnie Fritts, Russell Smith of The Amazing Rhythm Aces and many others. Could I send you the album?

    Thank you

  2. To the editors at Glide Magazine – hope you’re well!!

My name is Mikey. I’m reaching out to see if you would like to feature Gigi Vega in the “interview” section of your online magazine. We would consider it a great honor! Gigi is a dynamic pop singer & dancer from Boston (MA) whose artistry could be described as Demi Levato meets Tate McRae. Her latest single, Down Crazy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smDErJl4rgU) is an R&B track that recently leaped ahead of Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny and Justin Bieber to reach # 3 on the US Top 100 iTunes charts. The R&B/Pop track also surpassed music by Bruno Mars and The Weeknd to reach #1 on the R&B iTunes Charts. The music video for “Down Crazy” earned over one million YouTube views upon its release and is currently at four million.

Are you interested? We’re huge admirers of your publication and we think her stylish flare and big personality would be a great fit for your editorial line. I’d love to hear your thoughts, either way. Thank you for your time.

  3. Hi Glide,
I was told to get in touch with you for a story on what comedians got up to during the absence of live shows during the pandemic. I’ve been a traveling comedian since 2007, but during the hiatus I created a comedy-music album with a producer and had it mixed by Matt Facca (Alex Bent + the Emptiness, JJ White) and Mastered by Trevor Case (Alessia Cara, Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson, Doc Walker). The album “Optimistic” was released Sept 24th, with the second single being released this coming October 8th.

Please let me know if you are interested. We are available for interviews. I can send an album preview link if you’re interested.

Bio: NKOYM is helmed by brothers & MC’s MileyMo & Kirky Jay who’s previous comedic efforts have landed them performances at Just For Laugh’s JFL42, SiriusXM’s Top Comic (the largest comedy competition in Canada), and CBC Comedy.

  6. Hi Glide!

Hope you are doing well today. My name is Danny Webster and I go by the artist name Livers. I’m a Guelph ON-based indie artist and I have two new songs coming out on April 19 at 7 pm eastern. I’m contacting you today because I’m a big fan of Glide Magazine and would love to have these songs be a part of an upcoming issue. “Soon” is the name of the release, two indie/folk/pop songs about my personal struggles with envy and comparison, as well as my hopes to be successful in music one day! The songs are laced with bright synthesizers, dream-like guitars, and groovy drum machines, inspired by bands like Tame Impala and Glitter Party. I’ve attached a private soundcloud like below for you to listen, as well as my website containing links to my social media and music streaming. About a year ago you wrote a very flattering article about my song “Anyone” (also attached below) and would love to work together once more. Anyways, I really hope you enjoy what you hear, and I would be so delighted if you wished to move forward with this.

Thanks so much for your time, and keep up the great work.
    Best,
    Danny (Livers)

  7. Dear Editors,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Jay Korner and I am a musician based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I am writing to share with you my new release, a funky new single called “High On Life”. It’s available on all major digital music platforms this Friday, April 14th.

“High On Life” is a high-energy, danceable track with infectious grooves, catchy hooks, and a soulful vocal performance. The song was inspired by the funk era of the early 70s and features a tight rhythm section, punchy horns, Hammond organ, clavinet, and funky guitar riffs that will get your feet tapping and your head bobbing.

If you are interested in learning more about the song, I have attached a press release, and here’s a link to Soundcloud https://on.soundcloud.com/wqZR2

Please feel free to give it a listen and let me know what you think. It would be amazing if you like to consider it for a track review.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Best regards,
    Jay

  8. I gave up on physical CDs because the cost far outweighed the returns. (I do a have some CDs , which I have been using as beer coasters)…Would you guys accept a digital submission of my EP ? If so, where can I email it? Thanks!

  10. Hi there!

I wanted to reach out regarding press coverage in Austin for a few festivals happening this year including ACL 2023 and Levitation.

  11. Good morning,

Your album reviews are of exceptional quality but you never publish a review score for albums.

However, metacritic.com publishes precise scores for each album attributed to Glide. Are those scores accurate and, if so, why not add them to the reviews?
Other sites such as anydecentmusic.com cannot use your reviews because they have no access to the scores. anydecentmusic.com and metacritic.com are my go to sites for album news and reviews. It would be great if your reviews appeared on both sites. Having contacted anydecentmusic.com, they cannot publish links to your reviews because there are no scores. A resolution would be fantastic!

  12. Hi
I would like to get a hard copy of the edition that features Midnight Oil review of their first album. Can you please assist?
