10KLF’s Big Announcement Leaks
For the past few weeks 10KLF.com has been teasing the “biggest announcement ever” for this year’s 10KLF festival which goes down on July 22-25 in Detroit Lakes, MI. Music fans aren’t exactly known for their patience, so it’s no surprise that most of the lineup has leaked before today’s 10AM announcement. It appears that the Dave Matthews Band, Wilco and Umphrey’s McGee will be near the top of the initial list of performers.
Our friends at Breakfast On Tour report that old school funksters Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, rockgrass superstars Railroad Earth and guit-steel legend Junior Brown will also be on the bill along with San Francisco’s Tea Leaf Green and 10KLF favorites WookieFoot and Trampled By Turtles. Filling out the lineup will be Everyone Orchestra, Kathleen Edwards, Pretty Lights, BoomBox, William Elliott Whitmore, Kinetix, The Macpodz, My Dear Disco, The Ragbirds and Enchanted Ape. Keep your eyes on Breakfast On Tour and Hidden Track for the full details on 10KLF ‘08 later this morning.
