Once again, audiences will share in the festivities that the Full Flex Express imparts across Canada this coming summer. The tour that recently rumbled through several provinces, conceived and headlined by Grammy-winner Skrillex, is slated to once again feature artists bridging the genre spectrum, showcasing them in unique pairings and venues. Drawing inspiration from 1970’s Festival Express, the artists will arrive in every major city on a private passenger train, collaborating and inspiring one another as they make the trek. Tickets to the unique concerts at each stop go on sale October 12 and will be available until Christmas at a discounted $49.95 rate. Lineup, venues and full ticket price details are to be released January 8th.
The Full Flex Express exemplifies Skrillex’s ever evolving approach to touring, slowing down the breakneck pace of the past couple years in order to curate and create some remarkable, unique, curated experiences throughout the year, beginning with Nashville’s "With Your Friends Festival" which was assembled by Pretty Lights and Skrillex, featuring performances by both along with Nas, Santigold, and more. Other huge surprises are in store as Skrillex has also announced plans for a 4-show Mexico jaunt in December featuring a one-of-a-kind End Of The World event on 12/21/12 at the base of an indigenous temple. Additionally, a number of dates in Asia are on the horizon. There is also one very special announcement for New Year’s Eve coming shortly, as well.
