- With single-copy sales struggling, the publishers of Rolling Stone magazine opted to make one of the biggest changes in the history of the publication. The world’s largest music magazine is switching to a smaller rack-friendly size starting with the October 30 issue, which hits newsstands on the 17th. That’s gonna be really weird, but I understand what Wenner’s trying to do. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve been unable to find the current oversized edition in the music section of newsstands.

- Regardless of our geigh for Trey APW coverage, plenty of other bands rocked Liberty State Park this past weekend including Jersey girl Nicole Atkins. Atkins showed that she knows how to reach the hearts and stomachs of the Jersey crowd by inviting the Lakewood Blue Claws’ Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese characters onstage to dance during her set.
