Earlier today Chicago’s WXRT aired an interview with Phish front man Trey Anastasio. XRT host Frank E. Lee chatted with Big Red about his new album, his creative process and much more. Of particular interest for Phish fans, Anastasio confirmed that Phish plans to enter the recording studio soon. Trey also goes into detail about performing with symphonies earlier this year.

Good interview. Surprisingly liked the DJ and learned a few new tidbits…which is hard to do when you just about have read/listened to almost every Trey interview from the past 15 years.
This DJ never heard Clint Eastwood before? Whaaaa?
thanks for the update!
I agree with Zach there. How is it the DJ didn’t know, or sounded like he didn’t know that Clint Eastwood was a cover? Even if he didn’t know it was a Gorillaz song – how did he not do his research there. Still he asked some good questions, and it was pretty interesting. Thanks.
