The next batch of artists set to participate in legendary TV show Austin City Limits’ 38th season has been announced and includes Radiohead, one of the biggest bands in the world. Radiohead was already set to visit Austin on March 7 for a show at the Frank Erwin Center. No details about the taping, which is expected to take place at the Moody Theater, have been revealed. For a chance at a “golden ticket,” be sure to follow ACL’s Facebook page.
Other acts set to tape performances for this season of ACL include The Shins, the Civil Wars and Rodrigo y Gabriela and C.U.B.A. The 38th season is shaping up to be among the best in the influential program’s history. Musicians appreciate the chance to play more than the one song they’re allotted on late night shows and respect the program’s legacy. ACL’s move into a high-tech venue that holds more people doesn’t hurt either.
