Every fall for the last 20+ years, legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young has assembled an all-star roster of musicians for a charity concert to benefit the Bridge School – a school which assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs.

Due out on October 24th, The Bridge School Concerts 25th Anniversary Edition, available on three-DVDs or two-CDs, contains highlights from the past 24 years worth of Bridge School benefits including Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA, Rebel Yell by Billy Idol and Simon and Garfunkel’s America. All of the performances featured on this release, including Rebel Yell, are performed unplugged.

Shepard Fairey designed the cover art for The Bridge School Benefit Concerts – 25th Anniversary Edition and a documentary entitled The Bridge School Story is included on one of the DVDs. Proceeds from both the DVD and CD sets will benefit The Bridge School.

This year’s event will feature performances from Young, Arcade Fire, Dave Matthews, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Tony Bennett, Mumford & Sons, Beck, Diana Krall, Jenny Lewis and Los Invisibles featuring Carlos Santana. The usually all-acoustic shows will take place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif. on October 22 and 23.
