Finally, the folks at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame will honor the landmark long-running television show Austin City Limits by designating their studios as a historic rock and roll site. The studio will join nine other rock and roll landmarks around the country including the Whiskey-A-Go-Go and WJW Radio in Cleveland where Alan Freed was credited with popularizing the term “rock and roll.” Austin City Limits will kick off its 35th season on October 3 with a recently recorded Dave Matthews Band performance.
