Blonde on Bob: Blanchett’s Dylan Leaks
Some of youse may remember hearing about Todd Haynes’ I’m Not There, a unique biopic about the life and times of the Lucious Bobby Dylan. The non-traditional film will use six different actors depicting six stages of Uncle Robert’s life, casting Marcus Carl Franklin, Ben Whishaw, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, Richard Gere and Cate Blanchett in the role. Wait, Cate Blanchett? Yes, and judging by this clip that leaked late last week, she’s gonna rip it up.
Goddamn, David Cross is tough to take seriously, but he looks just about PERFECT for that Ginsberg role. I can’t wait for this movie’s release in the fall.

I nearly starting laughing as soon as I saw Cross in that getup. Here’s hoping this will be better then Masked And Anonymous – which happens to have a pretty great soundtrack.
If they fuck up the soundtrack to this one…man, I don’t even know how to end that sentence.
Ha! Well “superstar” DJ Mark Ronson is remixing ‘Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I’ll Go Mine)’ – for it. So yeah, it could be off to a dubious start already.

i had seen stills from the filming of this and thought cate was a perfect fit for dylan. can’t wait for the whole movie.
