Now that Grateful Dead / Furthur guitarist Bob Weir has completed his once-delayed first-ever solo acoustic tour, he’s gotten the bug as he’ll return for more in September.

Bob’s September plans start on September 7th at the soon-to-be-reopened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York; where he’ll open for The Roots and is expected to join them at some point during their set. Then, on September 8th, Weir will team up with longtime collaborator Rob Wasserman for the This Land Is Your Land: Woody Guthrie at 100 concert to be held at Eisenhower Auditorium on the campus of Penn State University in State College, Penn. After that, on the 9th, Weir will open for Bob Dylan at Hershey Park Pavilion in Hershey, Penn. Finally, on the 10th, Weir will play a solo acoustic headlining show at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Penn. Tickets for the Tower Theatre show go on sale tomorrow, August 10th, at 10AM ET.
