Umphrey’s McGee just announced details for the 3rd Annual Monster Mash Up Halloween extravaganza. This year, the group moves the celebration from the West Coast to the Midwest as the shows – scheduled for October 30 and 31 – will be held at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO. The first Mash Up event took place on October 31, 2008 at the Warfield in San Francisco while last year’s Mash Up spectacular was part of the Las Tortugas festival.
In true Umphrey’s Halloween tradition, we will be mixing and mashing up new combinations of tunes, and encourage all to get in the spirit of the mash up theme by dressing the part. [Umphreys.com]
Speaking of Umphrey’s, we received an email from Ticketmaster informing us that the band’s July 29th performance at South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, MA – the next show on the group’s schedule – has been canceled. The Cohasset concert is still listed on Umphreys.com. We’re awaiting official word on what happened and expect to have more details tomorrow.
