Briefly: Chamber Sextet yMusic Recorded w/ Trey
In a profile of the chamber sextet yMusic that was published in today’s New York Times, it’s revealed that the group participated in a recording session with Trey Anastasio. Trey’s new solo album, expected this fall, also contains contributions from members of the National and Mates of State as well as Anastasio’s solo band. Noted producer Peter Katis is co-producing the album with Big Red, which was recorded at Katis’s Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, Conn.

Hey Jeanette and Joe, Congratulations on the new baby. These puteircs are amazing. I wept openly when viewing. Very touching story. I remember the birth of our 3rd like is was yesterday. At 2 kids we weren’t sure if we were done. At 3 kids we KNEW we were done. Parenting Adivce: now you have to switch from man-to-man to zone defence.
