The fresh-faced target of Phil Lesh’s adoration will drag his part-time boss onto the Conan program — it’s a good thing they tape before the early-bird special: “I’m having a fantastic time playing with Phil Lesh & Friends. saw the phil & friends 11-1-07 show. can’t wait till jackie greene hits puberty. P & F are now a very good bar band. No spacy excursions like the old P & F stuff. Basically straight ahead r n r. That’s not a bad thing, but who’d a thunk that Ratdog would have turned into the jam band!
