Towards the end of last week’s Levon Helm Tribute at Brooklyn Bowl, The Band drummer’s longtime keyboardist Brian Mitchell told the crowd that Helm’s last wish was to see his famed Midnight Rambles go on past his death. The members of Levon’s tight-knit organization have honored that request by throwing two Rambles at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock over the past few weeks.
On Saturday June 23rd another Midnight Ramble will take place featuring The Dirt Farmer Band (Larry Campbell, Amy Helm, Teresa Williams, Byron Isaacs and Justin Guip) followed by members of The Levon Helm Band. Tickets go on sale tonight at 8PM ET through LevonHelm.com.
