With the Summer Of Jam continuing to take shape, today comes news of the initial lineup for the Disco Biscuits’ eighth installment of Camp Bisco. Camp Bisco VIII takes place July 16 – 18 at the Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY. The untz-tastic jam act will headline each night of the festie and will be joined by one of the more diverse lineups on the summer festival circuit. The talent – which annually is geared towards the electronica side of things – includes everything from hip hop to rock to reggae.
Among the acts set to appear alongside the Biscuits are fellow Philly band Dr. Dog, electro-funk act Chromeo, the unique pairing of Nas & Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley, and Special Disco Version – the side-project of James Murphy & Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem.

Special Disco Version! after years of seeking LCD Soundsystem, looks like Brownie got a nice compromise with Murphy/Mahoney. don’t sleep on Pretty Lights!–saw this cat in Hampton and was very impressed.
