Bret McKenzie, best known for his role as a New Zealand folkster on the beyond awesome HBO series Flight of the Concordes, will pay a visit to Conan tonight. McKenzie is nominated for a Grammy for the tune Man or Muppet from the flick The Muppets. Other late night highlights this week include The Fray on David Letterman (Tuesday), Dr. Dog on Conan (Wednesday) and of Montreal (Wednesday) and Primus (Thursday) on Jimmy Fallon.

The collection, which marks the 17th solo effort from Starr, contains nine tracks including a cover of Buddy Holly’s Think it Over.

Wilco, a band that seems to gain more momentum, praise and buzz with every fuzzy Nels Cline guitar riff, will visit Conan tonight prior to three LA-area shows on Tuesday (Hollywood Palladium), Wednesday (Wiltern Theater) and Friday (Los Angeles Theater). Jeff Tweedy and company also recently announced that its annual Solid Sound Festival will take a hiatus in 2012 but will return to MASS MoCa in North Adams, Mass. in 2013.
