[Update: 2/12 4PM: Concord has taken the playlist down, but the individual tracks are still there (for now)]

Duane Allman’s daughter Galadrielle and famed reissue producer Bill Levenson have spent the last few years putting together a collection of Duane’s studio work and live output from his recording career that will finally be released as Skydog – The Duane Allman Retrospective on March 19th.

The 129-track, career-spanning compilation features selections from his time in ABB precursors The Escorts, The Allman Joys, Hour Glass, 31st of February and The Bleus as well as plenty of live and studio tracks from the Allman Brothers Band. There’s also plenty of tracks showing off his studio work with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Boz Scaggs, Wilson Pickett and King Curtis.

The seven-disc collection – which comes with a 72-page book containing liner notes penned by Galadrielle, photos and more – is available for pre-order through Hittin’ The Web for $99. Want to sample it? You can stream the entire retrospective here…
