Wednesday Intermezzo: Radiohead Apologizes

Excitable boys and girls flooded Radiohead.com on Sunday night and all through the day on Monday with orders for the new album, thanks of course to the revolutionary “name your own price” pre-sale of In Rainbows. That led Jonny Greenwood to post a message on the band’s website apologizing for the inconvenience. Excuse me? Can you imagine a major label ever apologizing for anything? This is no slight on the group’s awesome music, but we now like Radiohead: The Businessmen more than Radiohead: The Band.

We skimmed through the other 10,000 Radiohead posts on the blogoweb to bring you a whole batch of links that have nothing to do with that band:

Lastly, some 10/31 news from Camp McGee: Umphrey’s announced it plans to transform the Fillmore in Denver into the “Terror-Torium,” paying tribute to Halloween and horror movies; they ask you join in the celebration by dressing as your favorite horror movie character. Definitely awesome shit.
