As we first reported, Chicago’s aliveOne celebrated its 15th anniversary on Saturday by welcoming a project called Motorboat featuring Umphrey’s McGee’s Ryan Stasik and Brendan Bayliss, Chuck Garvey of moe. and North Mississippi Allstar’s Cody Dickinson to perform their first gig. Motorboat wound up playing two sets chock full of classic rock covers as well as a pair of encores for the small crowd.

This “supergroup” features Umphrey’s McGee bassist Ryan Stasik and guitarist Brendan Bayliss, Cody Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars on drums and moe. guitarist Chuck Garvey. Tickets for this private event are not for sale and can be won through raffles at the venue tonight and tomorrow.
