Yeah, he really cares about artistic integrity, that’s why he changed all lyrics that mentioned drugs, alcohol, or sex. He just got religion and started seeing the devil everywhere. But Uneasy Rider, Still in Saigon, etc. are great tunes.

yeah, but who wants a fiddle made out of gold? i guess it’d be nice to hang on the wall so you could brag about pwning the devil, but for practical purposes that thing would be way to heavy.

even if Chuck doesn’t make a cent, I got the sense from his above writings that this REALLY is not about the money, but rather the manner in which this song is depicted on that game.

Charlie has some serious right-wing views, but in this case, he is right on the money. If anything, the mistake was not keeping his publishing rights for the song, since he does not make a dime out of it.

hey, the guy may be outdated and prudish, but hell, it was his song and he hates to see it used that way. i don’t think that is wrong at all.
