Longtime Cubs fan Eddie Vedder will get the thrill of a lifetime on July 19th when Pearl Jam finally makes their Wrigley Field debut in Chicago. The once rumored show is now officially on the books with tickets set to go on sale February 9th at 10AM local time at Tickets.com.

Vedder, who was born in the Chicago suburb of Evanston and spent his elementary school days in the area before his family moved to San Diego, even recorded a song called All The Way as a tribute to his beloved Cubbies. Pearl Jam has a long history of gigs in Chicago which we detailed for Venue Segues in October ’11. Pearl Jam also announced a July 16th gig in London, Ontario today.
Both dates feature no opening acts. Pearl Jam will announce a U.S. Fall Tour in the coming months.
