My Morning Jacket’s Spontaneous Curation series enhanced-tour reached New York City last night, where the band played Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn. Rarities included The Dark, It’s About Twilight Now and I’ll Be There When You Die, while Luna’s Dean Wareham sat in on a cover of George Harrison’s Isn’t It A Pity. Yet the biggest treat of the evening had to be the band dusting off their fantastic cover of Prince’s I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man, which was debuted at Bonnaroo in 2005, for the first time since the Terminal 5 run in 2010.
