See, I can’t even ardue with your points, Monk, other than thinking Ronson’s Just is schtick.

Everyone is going crazy over this Ronson cover, but it sounds schtiky to me.

The Mehldau covers have some fine board work, but when they try to take the P Android out to the edge, it falls short, imo.

That Reckoner by Gnarls is awesome. Completely fantastic.

The Duo gets my vote. Those guys feel it and the fact that I’ve heard them take both myx and PA into such vastly different directions many timesconfirms that they get it.

More than any other, this Cover War has a variety of quality versions by quality musicians. I’m going to have to vote for Ronson’s Just as the best single cover, but Mehldau for body of work.
