The complete NYE98 show, the set really is the peak of TrioMule's all-too-brief career. The power trio songs hit hard and have that turn-on-a-dime intensity combined with the brooding heaviness that i loved about the trio. The songs with guests are not your average sit-in affair. Warren, Matt, and Allen really pushed their guests into uncharted ensemble territory, with "Spanish Moon" being one of the highlights of a career-defining night. This version clocks in at 20 mins and features Bernie Worrell on keys, Randall Bramblett on sax, Derek Trucks on guitar, and Yonrico Scott on percussion. Truly a must-hear.
