For Real: Van Halen Actually Takes The Stage
After more than a decade of trying, Van Halen finally took the stage with David Lee Roth last night at Charlotte Bobcats Arena in North Carolina. Van Halen played 26 songs, all of which came from the six albums they recorded before Sammy Hagar came along in 1986, none of which came from men with 1980s teased hairdos.

Reports say 16-year-old Wolfgang Van Halen handled both the bass playing and background vocals extremely well. It’s also nice to hear that David Lee Roth’s vocals are sounding good, and that Eddie Van Halen is still tearing it up. We just hope that Eddie and David Lee can continue to put the music above their petty bickering (at least until they hit the NYC area in early November). Van Halen plays their second show on Saturday night at the Greensboro Coliseum. Read on for the setlist from Charlotte…
