With Hanukkah already underway and Christmas right around the corner, it’s officially that time of year. You know, the one where you feel sick from overeating for a month straight or when you want to blow your brains out every time you hear Santa Baby or I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus? Yup, ’tis the season. So, let’s kick it off, and celebrate with a little holiday cheer.
We begin this week’s mix with two Hanukkah party tunes, the first being Matisyahu’s brand new dance sensation, Miracle, and the second being a live rendition of Adam Sandler’s the Hanukkah Song Part III, complete with a Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo sit-in. From there, we hit a couple Christmas songs from some of our favorite artists, Bright Eyes with Have Yourself a Merry Christmas and moe. with Together at Christmas. Then, the Hoff stops by to sing The Christmas Song before Stevie Wonder checks in with What Christmas Means to me and Dave & Tim hammer out a the Dave Matthews tune, The Christmas Song. And last but not least, Kyle from South Park takes us home with his aching holiday ballad, The Lonely Jew.
