Friday’s Leftovers: Secret Policeman’s Ball Stream

This Sunday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Eddie Izzard, Russell Brand, Sarah Silverman and Fred Armisen as well as Coldplay and Mumford & Sons will perform as part of the first-ever U.S. edition of Amnesty International’s The Secret Policeman’s Ball. The action starts at 7PM ET/4PM PT and for those who can’t attend, you can watch the performances through the EPIX streaming service. Finally, we are expecting a quiet few months from Arcade Fire after a big two years from the Canadian band in support of The Suburbs. However, the group did record a new song for the T. Bone Burnett-produced Hunger Games soundtrack which you can stream at Entertainment Weekly. The tune, entitled Abraham’s Daughter, will play over the film’s closing credits.
