For today’s Full Show Friday post not only do we have a video containing a complete concert, but we’ve also got news to go along with it. The focus of today’s post is a heavily-bootlegged performance by The Who that took place at The Summit in Houston on November 20, 1975. While researching this article we came across news that we missed – Eagle Rock Entertainment have slapped a fresh coat of aural and visual paint on the master recordings and will release the show on DVD and Blu-ray on October 9th as The Who: Live in Texas ’75.

The Who’s near two-hour performance features many of the finest songs in the band’s catalog including Drowned, Squeeze Box, Behind Blue Eyes, We’re Not Gonna Take It, Pinball Wizard, My Generation and Won’t Get Fooled Again. A true “all killer, no filler” affair, The Who made the first major rock concert held at Houston’s Summit one that we’re still talking about nearly 40 years later. While we wait for the newly remastered version that has been cleaned up by Who guru Jon Astley, let’s look at the already-incredible footage that has circulated in bootleg circles for a long time…
