Umphrey’s McGee kicked a two-week tour with G. Love and Special Sauce on Friday night outside of the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. The first collaboration of the tour took place that night, when G. Love came out during Umphrey’s second set to add harmonica to a cover of The Rolling Stones’ 1978 hit Miss You. The show was ended prematurely when a storm threatened the area.

This marked the UM debut of Miss You. Guitarist Jake Cinninger handled vocals on the disco-tinged classic. Thanks to YouTuber Allvento we can get a taste of how it looked/sounded…

Umphrey’s McGee w/ G. Love – Miss You

The tour continued tonight outside of The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where G. Love sat in with Umphrey’s once again – this time adding harmonica to UM original Women, Wine and Song.
