nice call on giving the Montbleau band some props, B. Unfortunately, they can't change the name now cuz they are ripping shit up all over the place. Jason Cohen is an absolute animal on keys. Blows my mind. And don't forget that stellar AO Guitar that Ryan plays...

The Apollo Sunshine set at Langerado was awesome. Save for MMJ, it was easily the best set of the weekend for me. It was definitely a tough time slot (12:30), and if a few of the heads I was with hadn't insisted on going, I def. wouldn't have seen it (I called for a pullover and vomited on the side of the turnpike en route to the festival grounds for the Apollo set).

I couldn't be more pissed about missing the Apollo Sunshine set down at Langerado...it was literally #1 on my list of bands to see, and I totally bricked it. The 12:30 start time got the best of me. Oh well, best not think too deeply on this one -- and I'm guessing from everything I've listened to that these cats are gonna be around for a long, long time.

Scotty, there are few bands I want to see for the first time more than the Ryan Montbleau Band. I love his voice and overall sound. And does a song get any better than "Quickie"?
